Seen on twitter. Beat out last years final which was on NBC.
ESPN Research
Roger Federer's win over Andy Murray in #Wimbledon men's final scored 3.1 overnight rating for ESPN, +48% over last year's final.

I have no personal ambition of being a four-legged animal, so as far as I'm concerned he can continue his quest and if he really becomes an animal one day it will be great for science too and not only sports...

Wimbledon was great this year. Another final for Andy, more money, more points.
Roger getting his 17th slam, getting back his #1 ranking and pushing Nadal down to 3rd
Djokotards, Nadaltards, CRY!

Fed has been very generous to his contemporaries. he gave lleyton halle last year, he gave roddick, miami this year, he also gave Haas Halle this year. goes to show you how Karma works.

Re: Wimbledon Final 2012: Federer def. Murray 4-6 7-5 6-3 6-4
Federer just won because:
1.)this time Nadal was prevented from plowing(/preprocessing) the baselines of the Center Court as much as usually,
and 2.)the British organisers closed the roof in front of Murray's eyes.

I would hope that those who think crying is a thing of wimps are just being facetious if not just being annoying online forum posters. Emotional well-being requires a full expression of the the range of feelings and crying is part of feeling disappointed or very sad. Repressed and suppressed emotional build-up leads to depression, bitterness and poor general health. Murray showed great character and a relatable humanness that tells us how much he cares about this sport some of us truly enjoy.
Congrats to Tennis!!!
