Yeah, I hate it too. The Underground is one of the two places where I actually perspire in London, so I try to take the bus to school whenever I can.

Thanks, nah, I'm sick to the teeth with education, reading, note taking, reading, revising, reading, reading, reading. I've been waiting for years to get out of it all and go jump out of a plane or some other thrill seeking thing. Anything that doesn't require brain usage. There were plenty of Singaporean and Chinese guys at Imperial. Usually packed full of them in business management classes. But yeah without the ceremony I feel like a bum who wasted 3 years.
Are you gonna go job-hunting or has that already been done? Jumping out of a plane is a very constructive activity. Make sure you check in here after you're done so that we know you're safe. Yeah, lots of Singaporeans attend London universities. As for the Chinese, they are just everywhere. Every. Where.

Did you attend your freshers fair?
Yup. Joined a bunch of clubs but I expect I'd take part in maybe two: tennis and Literature.

Congrats on the imminent graduation Shamster ! And trip, you should give us a idea of how majestic or pathetic London truly is by posting a pic ( maybe the view from your apartment ? )

All right, you asked for it. I just took this - don't freak out...
How beautiful.
I should've known that there was a price to pay for all those glorious days of sun.

It is beautiful I love foggy weather- not 300 days a year, but a couple of weeks maybe I am guessing that the LSE campus is probably in the suburbs of London, so you are not able to see any London landmarks even on a clear day. Thanks for the pic

I've had two or three days of foggy weather already and that's more than enough. LSE is in central London. That pic was taken from my bedroom window but I don't stay in LSE accommodation, though it is in central London (zone 1 at least). It's a pretty shabby area though which is why it doesn't look very glamorous.

It's quite depressing to put up with this kind of weather all the time.

Here you go so you don't have to click on the link! And thanks Kat I really needed that! I'm worried about the storm for the East Coast of the U.S.
I am looking forward to the big storm hitting - I have this masochistic attraction towards nature's fury Here's a nice pic to help you prepare for the storm Mae

How are my lurkers doing?
I still haven't fixed my computer, gonna get a new one soon, in the meantime it's only my phone so I haven't been here as much
Hope everyone is doing well on the east coast, haven't heard much about the damage from the storm but my friend told me they're getting 4 feet of snow in some places wow.
I'm in 8th in the ATP draw challenge, go look quick before I drop down to below 10000
Played 5 pin bowling last night in a league I joined and made a headpin spare, which is pretty much impossibler than the 7-10 split in 10 pin bowling. I know 5 pin is only played in Canada so feel free to look it up but yeah that headpin spare was totally awesome
That's pretty much it from my end today, how are you guys?

Have any of you seen the trailer for the movie Flight? It looks really good, I don't watch movies in theatres often but I think I'll watch this one, it premieres Friday, anyone else gonna see it?

Maybe you should change the sponsorship to 'The Djokovic doesn't tank foundation'. That'll get the kids flocking in here.
Milo, 8th in the draw challenge is impressive. Might try it next season.
We're always lagging behind with movies. Still haven't even watched Skyfall yet. Bad move, you wait too long and some blabber mouth ruins the movie for you. Like when I was a kid and the sixth sense came out. Pretty much went berserk with rage when a substitute Maths teacher told me the twist.
But the trailer for flight does look good. Going to be yonks before I end up watching it.

I'm not much of a movies person, but I think "Skyfall" is a terrible name for a film, especially something as legendary as the Bond franchise. What the hell is 'skyfall' anyways? And if it's not good, won't all the critics find a way to work "Skyfail" into their reviews?
