Not sure now that you mention it Amber.. I'm barely vain enough to look in the mirror before leaving the house let alone record my voice and listen to it. I imagine it sounds like that guy from house.. with a slight Scottish tinge.

'Nuff about me, let's talk about you. What's your accent like?

Ahoy ma'am. We've upgraded from chatting via incredibly friendly good reps huh?

Cold icy staring and observation is what I'm looking for in an MTF buddy. It's too warm for a hot date.

You don't half hold back on the honesty do ye? That's a solid trait online, where you could pretend to be anything you wanted to be. I generally start my day bungee jumping out of a moving helicopter wearing a Spongebob Squarepants costume. Then comes the real action: lurking on MTF

Yeah Mae, I remember writing a small thesis on the volume/chapter debate. Since it's of vital importance, let's rekindle it once more:

Quote:
Volumes are for large things that like to stand out and be heard. Attention seekers for example, and other chat threads. We're lurkers, we're subtle with what we do, and the little chapters of history we witness and quietly create around MTF. Hence chapter is the only word that makes sense to describe each thread.

I wish I could spend more time off here, but sad truth is I have nothing to do in real life, and I love Tennis, none of my friends in real life watch Tennis... it's a same really.

I know that feeling. I once asked a friend at a restaurant what the score of a Tennis match on the tv was (Fed-Nadal WTF final), and he went "errr, 6-2-40. And 3-0-15"

.. The tit was reading it sideways

I also suffer from some mental health issues... it's hard for me to stop this addiction to the forum, I have no self esteem or confidence.

Well this place was originally a psychoanalysis area before all the psychoanalysts went-a lurking, so feel free to speak your mind.

Do you have many addictions or is it just this forum? An addiction to a forum or the internet is pretty common these days and it's usually one of the least harmful I'd have thought - compared to bad habits that do more than waste your time that is. Most people don't even realise they're addicted, or have the wherewithall to admit it to themselves.

Well I have an addiction to Tennis if that counts.

Thing is my mental health problem (aspergers/autism) is not so bad, compared to others. I just get fixated to things, and just cannot stop for a while.

Useful if you're getting the chance to play tennis at least once a week, and not just watching it, since there's no better exercise than Tennis in my totally biased opinion.

Ah yeah, this is something which most people have in one form or another, but go through life not understanding or realising it. Fixations are generally strongest in childhood, and I've always related aspergers to social interaction (though I know there's other things associated), so fixating on a forum online which has a heavy social aspect to it is a natural escapism or substitute for offline social interaction - which even the most 'social' of us find mentally taxing at times. Problem is, humans are social creatures and are reliant on communication (regardless of our varied levels of confidence), so we naturally crave to socialise in one way or another.

But you'll certainly move on from this place at some point, there's no need to get frustrated by it, just enjoy your time here mate. Eventually everyone gets bored and moves on. In fact, this entire post was designed to put you to sleep.

Even David Ferrer? (Roger 14 - 0 David)

Or, Roger loses even before QF? lol

Well, every relationship has to evolve at some point, Sham. Although considering the place, shouldn't we consider it a downgrade, since lurking >>> posting? Then again, you consider me complaining about your avatar for months incredibly friendly... Maybe it's just a matter of perception. FYI, it's incredibly difficult to out-lurk you.

Some people get turned on by icy stares, so you better be careful. I hope the club of your choosing has air-conditioning.

And I agree with Amber, you should totally share your voice with us.
