It was all over red rover for Mayer after he failed to capitalise on those 3 break point chances at 4-4 in the opening set.
Nole's roar when he broke in the final set made the surface area of my undergarments increase significantly. Hopefully he can take out Rogi in the semis...

meyer was tricky and persistent. djoko was patient and just too good.
meyer crumlbed after djoko saved 0-40 in the ninth game. second set was awesome by djokovic.

I thought Flo played pretty good considering his ranking and this being his first time on any big stage. Will be interesting to see how Nole does next.  to both guys!

The fact that some people on here thought Mayer had a chance of winning this shows how little they watch tennis. Mayer's junk-balling game is fine against brainless ball-bashers but Novak is smarter, faster and stronger then him so he was never going to lose this.
Hopefully he can pick up with Federer where he left off at the French.
