Default Djokovic will end the year number 1!

Sky Sports UK commentator Mark Petchey believes Novak Djokovic will end this year at number 1 ahead of Rafael Nadal & Roger Federer.

He gives his full opinion of Roland Garros on 'Sky Sports News Radio's Tennis Weekly Podcast' and what went wrong for Novak in the final against Rafa.

Well he doesn't have much to defend after the USOpen,so he could win few points here and there

There are three important tournaments left this summer, everything after that is small potatoes If he wins slams, he's got nothing to worry about being #1

Now he has lost 2 slams and lost #1 and he also has zero in the optional tournaments. There is something wrong with this but Fedal can easily leave him in the dust in the coming months and then who knows what can happen in the fall. After breaking and working hard last year, it is a very disappointing way to give up on all of that and go back to being a 3rd wheel. The lack of urgency is disturbing.
