Re: Toronto Entry List (updated June 27, 2012)
If one of the top-4 lost early in the Olympics, he will be THE candidate

Re: Toronto Entry List (updated June 27, 2012)
Has this always been a 48 player draw? I don't think so. This must be a wise change to compensate for the Olympics.

Re: Toronto Entry List (updated June 27, 2012)
watch when this becomes masters 250. Fed won't play even if he goes out early at Olympics, semi-finalists also won't play and doubt that these 4 will be Berlocq, Ferrero, Andujar and Troicki . Moronic schedule

nothing : zero point that's what it's all about mandatory tournaments.
It might be worse (there's theoretically a "suspension penalty" in the rules which has never been applied) as all skipping players send an excuse (Montanes did so last year or previous one, I don't remember, to skip both canada and Cinci open)
Fed doesn't even need to send an excuse as at his age and carreer, the rules allow him to skip 2 MS1000 tournaments in a year (and next year to skip all of them).
