nah the loss wasn't so painful to me as not being able to watch such a quality match on tv/net.
Wimbledon fucked it up big time. I just don't know what the hell were they thinking.

Now on the loss, it wasn't that unexpected considering they clashed when both hit some high quality tennis recently.
Sure Tommy had the opportunity to get away with win in every set, but so did Kohli.

Strange thing, even if we didn't see the match, even I knew this will be very tricky one, watching scoreboard from the beginning I had the feeling Tommy was dominating.
Now there was some guy in GM's, who said his friend was there and told him that Kohli should have taken it easily, I don't think I could agree with that. It was pretty tight match 'til the fifth set from scoreboard perspective

^biased people everywhere. though we can't really judge when we couldn't see it live.
i had a mandatory thing for work and couldn't even follow the scoreboard. seeing after that he lost made me happy i didn't follow that damn match on the SB

I was wondering the same thing. The reason for it must be family, hence staying in Germany/Austria a bit longer

Also clay is easier on the body than the hard courts. And Tommy really needs to take it easy with his body!
