Wimbledon QFR: [11] Baker def. Teixeira 5-7 6-2 6-1 6-2
Brian was basically dominant from the second set onward, in virtually every return game and holding his service mostly easily. Great way to qualify, got a good draw and took full advantage. Hopefully he gets a kind spot in the MD and can enter the top 100 in Wimbledon!

Surely now he got enough grass court practice and hopefully a good result is ahead of him in the MD.

Wimbledon should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for not granting a WC to Baker. If Baker didn't get one, then no one ever should. That said, I absolutely loved Baker's attitude, as he welcomed the opportunity to qualify, and then steamrolled three opponents in securing a MD spot. If Baker gets a good draw, he could easily win a few matches.
