Monza CH QF: Kavcic def. Veic 2-6 7-6(3) 6-3 saving 6 match points
Great fighting spirit from Kavcic, who looks a bit heavy legged. Down 15-40 at 4-5 and down 0-40 at 5-6, saved another match p when Veic was advantage.
Only needed one break in the 3rd, they've played a few times year this already. Not easy when playing a friend.

Two weeks in a row blown matches by Veic. I suppose it was almost the same vs Meffert in Caltanissetta.

Blaz you mental giant  , two great weeks in a row. Even though Veic has gotten more solid this year, he hasn't lost his habit of choking.

Veic didn't really choke, Kavcic played aggressive tennis when behind. He hit a lot of BH DTL's the second half of the match and started hitting out without inhibition. And it worked. It's a great win for him but he had to withdraw from his semifinal match with Montañes due to fatigue/knee pain.

Good win for Blaz but I'm sorry to see him withdraw. I hope he gets a good draw at Wimbledon. Is he in the MD?

Oh my god, Kavcic won a close match, rather than saving 6 Mps in 2nd set and losing 3rd 6-3 as usual
