Queens R3: Dimitrov def. Mahut 7-6(3) 6-4
The light clicked on for Grigor after being broken in the first set at 3 all. At that point in the match, Nicolas was serving well on big points, hitting awesome BH returns and being the aggressor, including a BH DTL return to get up *4-3 in set one. From that point onward, however, Grigor was the clear better player, awesome serving, dominant from the baseline moving Mahut all around, some great returns and dipping backhand returns making it tough for Mahut at the net, and good defense. Took him 9 BPs to finally break when Mahut was serving for the first set and after Dimi broke, his confidence level rose and he took over. Great tennis from Dimi and a great win for him.

I loved the way he came back in the first set after facing set points.

Good tennis from Grisha. Mahut looked physically out of it at times, but good week for both anyway. Decent chance for Dimitrov to make the final here IMO.

Patrick Mouratoglou is really one of the best coaches to have. He knows how to harness a players ability he did it also to Rezai and Wickmayer those two have a different style than Dimitrov.
