Re: Tommy Haas on Murray: "He brings on trainer then moves like a cat"
LOL - totally true.
Haas is honest and he doesn't have anything to gain my making these comments but I'm pretty sure he's still bitter about this loss...

Re: Tommy Haas on Murray: "He brings on trainer then moves like a cat"
Haas used the wrong wording when he said medical timeouts. Murrray doesn't call for them but is on court behaviour suggests he requires an ER.
He references the locker room in the interview suggesting the Murray's faking antics are getting the most attention. Sounds pretty plausible to me after RG. Nole's faking has improved immensely since his early days and Nadal hasn't done it this year yet. Nothing to do with being an easy target.
Haas must be so bitter about that Indian Wells defeat even though he beat him the very next year.

If he has a back injury then this isn't really that surprising, Haas should know.

Pushray is a joke. Every point he loses, he looks like he's about to die from some horrific injury. Then runs like a rabbit during the next point. This guy should get an Oscar for his faking skills.

Re: Tommy Haas on Murray: "He brings on trainer then moves like a cat"
Haas is noone to complain. I saw him bring on a trainer when his opponent was to serve to win the match. Tommy was sitting there laughing while the trainer was rubbing his legs. Even the announcers thought it was a ploy to throw off his opponent. Fortunately, Tommy's plan didn't work and he lost the next game.

don't be dumb, Murray does it way more than anyone else and HE HIMSELF has been legendary this year, possible GOAT status at faking injury and then running gazelle like... I mean I think almost every single match this Roland Garros, how embrassing.... I don't know how Lendl can look him in the face, but then again I expect Lendl to leave him soon

To call out Andy and not Nadal or Nole, that's absurd.

What are you talking about? I watched Nadal do it to Nishikori this year. He took an MTO right before Nishikori served to stay in the first set- then immediately broke.

Correct, forgot about that. Bad Rafito. Murray's antics occurred in the last tournament which was a grand slam so of course it's going to be the most talked about in the locker room.

Finally some sense, and you hate Murray to boot! I don't know how anyone can argue with you on this.

He didn't lie about anything, we can all agree (even Murray fans) on how Murry looked against Richard. At times he would hold his back with pain face and then all of a sudden ruuuuning like a cat.
No player should risk some serious injury if he's feeling great pain during the match. Tommy certainly knows this after all injuries he's gone through.
|
That's not what he said- he was talking about MTO's. Murray didn't bring on the trainer against Gasquet.

Against Nishikori a month or two ago was fairly egregious with Nadal. But the history is so extensive, as opposed to Murray calling the trainer once against Nieminen that it seems pretty unfair to single him out.
