Yes, it really seems like money is a huge issue for most of these players. To add, not enough challengers in South America for them to compete and test themselves at that level on a constant basis and, of course, much more expensive and difficult for them to come to Europe regularly. I've see all the players that I mentioned play, plus Schwartzman and Olivo, and I truly believe they should be ranked way higher with their actual level and game.

Prodon (too easy a draw)
Molteni or Pella
Velotti
Arguello (but Junqueira has an easy draw too)

as for Olivo, i saw him live last year i think (or 2 yrs ago?) he looked raw to me, futures level. then again, he looked like he needed small weak challengers like air to slowly estabilish and gain experience... otherwise he'd get killed by the big guys.
i mean, a guy like Prodon can play ATP level of tennis (rarely does these days, but it's insignificant)... then there's Kavcic often paying visit to south america, or Bolelli... all of them are just different league... (doesn't matter what shape they are in)

He's very talented too and, surprisingly, has pretty decent power in his groundstrokes despite being very, very short (I guess he's no more than 1.70, looks really small). He could make a good run here, but I hope Fabbiano takes him out!

Btw, Beretta and Aguilar are facing each other I think for the third consecutive week. Beretta just beat him 5-7 6-3 7-5 in the Peru F6 final.
