It was a 4th round loss to Toad. There was no trophy ceremony.

how were roddick and rogie's concerns over djokovic's medical issue which required changing his diet and surgery?
i guess djokovic didn't get a proctology exam from them and nadal kneedal . in 20 years, djokovic will be a huge celebrity.

Hey I like Djoker. All I'm saying is there will be questions asked. Rafael is in a bigger muddle than Nole when it comes to gamesmanship.

How can you not enjoy Nadal/Djokovic finals? They're epic.
The Australian this year is probably one of the 10 best matches in history (even though my guy lost).

Fedal is more enjoyable if Federer competes with fire.

The Noledal rivalry
Which way will it go?
After Wimbledon it is easy to forget that whoever came out on top in the Noledal rivalry generally won the Slam.
Rafa's loss to Rosol - which was probably a freak match - disguised the fact that the rivalry had started to swing in Rafa's favour. Novak barely won the AO final and then lost the clay matches - which he had won in 2011. Arguably if they had played at Wimbledon, Rafa would have won.
It is almost like all the wars with Rafa have taken the edge off Novak's game - Rafa actually ENJOYS these matches whereas Nole only plays them because he has to.
If they do meet at the USO it will almost certainly be in the SF. Rafa may actually be the favorite for the match even though everyone says he sucks on fast hardcourts. Novak will know that Rafa will make him go through a world of pain and, even if he does win, Rafa will make him pay a terrible price for it: another 7 hour war will mean he has no hope in the final the next day.

Re: The Noledal rivalry
I think it's in the balance right now. A lot of it depends on which way Djokovic is going to go. Was that Wimbledon SF just a bad day?
Djokovic is certainly still the favourite for any potential meetings on the summer HCs.

I would think so. He looked quite good at this tournament before this...and don't forget he destroyed Fed at RG. I think he'll be fine come hard court season.

Re: The Noledal rivalry
Just pls call it Rafole, not Noledal. Jest like its Fedal, Raferer. Only question is what do you call a Fed and Novak rivalry? I vote for Fedole.

Re: The Noledal rivalry
Look at the RG final 3rd set. Notice how a slight change in conditions rendered Nadal's game impotent against a resurgent Nole.
That, for me, is the clinching factor.
Nadal needs perfect conditions to beat Nole, everywhere else, Nole will survive.
I'm happy to place a wager on Nole if they are to meet in the USO SF.

Didn't you watch the AO final? Five hours with Murray and then six hours with Nadal.
