Which is the Rogers Cup.

Why can't we have other events like the 250s or 500s? I mean I do know we have challengers and futures events in this country but I want to see more of the bigger events in this country.
Lets say turn the Vancouver challenger into an atp 250 event and make it part of the indoor carpet season so our events more unique from events on the calender. We can also have like another 250 event in Granby or Quebec City as well. Just imagine the points our Canadian players could get if we had more events.

bottom line: i want more events in this country.

We are having troubles putting 4 or 5 futures events together, how the hell are we going to get a 250 or 500?

As I said in the other one, 3 years ago, we had 3 futures events. Now we have 7. I think we should try to get that number up to about 14, that will help our players the most. Help their rankings so they can get into American challengers..then American 250's and so on. Right now we have so many Canadians fighting through 4 rounds of qualifying in the USA, it'd be nice to have the chance to give them some WCs.

The Vancouver CH tourney is supposed to be one of the top CH's of the year, yet it seems to attract only weakish tier 2 CH fields, like it hardly ever get's even 1 top 100 player, last year it had Lu, which for me is a somewhat weak top 100 guy, then 2 more guys in the top 150, after that it really drops off, why does it not get better fields, is it because of the location, other reasons, I really can't see it even being considered to upgrade it to 250 status when the fields just aren't cutting it right now.
