Fanselow knocks off Wolmarans in straights. Meister obliterates Takeuchi. And Jason Jung makes a surprise quarterfinal appearance. Good showing from the college guys

Fanselow is such a great talent, saw him three years ago against Frenchman Renavand in Germany on Clay, he was 17 years old and showed some great stuff there against a experienced guy like Renavand.
Good to see that he can compete on Future Level as a College Player. Hope he can trouble McClune and maybe take a set or go into a TB.

Good luck to him. I have a soft spot for guys playing college tennis. They have a brain and understand the need for a degree

Fanselow is so strong. Reminds me a bit of a Soderling type of player. Not the best mover but can crush the ball. He gets a lot of power from his upper arms and he can wrist the ball into sharp angles on the forehand. He steps in and takes the backhand well, he also has good court position and likes to stay close to the baseline at all times.

Fanselow - McClune 6-2,3-2*

Fanselow lost only six points on his serve in six service games until 6-2,3*-1. This one was a very tough game for him, he had a couple of chances to win that game but McClune could bring it back to deuce, than he had one break point and wasted it, Fanselow with two more game points but he could not utilize it and McClune won two points in a row to break Fanselow for the first time.

GO SEBASTIAN !!!

Would be a BIG, BIG win for him...

Good win. Not too surprising of a result tbh because McClune is weak from the baseline. Fanselow is really probably a better player overall, even at this point.

And looking at the rest of the players in the draw, he could win this title.

But I haven't actually seen most of these guys play Obviously it's difficult to comment then.

Will be relocating to the US in the summer, but my university's team is rather poor (I don't know any of the names) and the city is a bit isolated. So I don't think that I'll be a lot more knowledgeable then either.
