Euro 2012 MTF Game
This is a prediction game for all MTF users who want to challenge their predicting skill for the forthcoming Euro 2012 Football Tournament.
Rules:
Predict the final standings of the 16 teams qualified for the Euro 2012. Pick the 4 teams that will lose in Quarter-finals, the 2 teams that will lose in Semi-finals, the Runner-Up and Winner.
Groups:
Group A:- Poland
- Greece
- Russia
- Czech Republic
Group B:- Netherlands
- Denmark
- Germany
- Portugal
Group C:- Spain
- Italy
- Republic of Ireland
- Croatia
Group D:- Ukraine
- Sweden
- France
- England
Quarter-finals:- 1st Group A - 2nd Group B (QF1)
- 1st Group B - 2nd Group A (QF2)
- 1st Group C - 2nd Group D (QF3)
- 1st Group D - 2nd Group C (QF4)
Semi-finals:- Winner QF1 - Winner QF3 (SF1)
- Winner QF2 - Winner QF4 (SF2)

How to send your picks:
Just post your picks in the following format (it's not strict, but something understandable is required):
QF: TeamA, TeamB, TeamC, TeamD
SF: TeamE, TeamF
RU: TeamG
W: TeamH
You can send up to 2 sets of picks per user. If you send more, only the first 2 will count.
Point distribution:
Results are calculated according to the following points table:
Code:

1 500 200 75 20
2 200 300 100 25
SF 75 100 200 50
QF 20 25 50 100
You get points for picking correctly and also for getting 'close'. For example, if you predict TeamA is going to win the tournament and this team finnally wins, you get 500 points. If you predict it will get to SF and this team reaches Quarter finals, you get 50 points. If you predict the team won't reach Quarter-finals, you won't get any points.
You can send your picks until the start of the first match (Poland-Greece), that will be played on Friday 8th June at 18:00 CEST.
Always remember to put 4 Quarter-finalists, 2 Semi-finalists, 1 Runner up and a Winner. Otherwise, picks won't count!!
