Very, very strong match from Tomas. Great returning, dominant from the back of the court, assertive mentality, good serving, everything worked today. He looks to be in dangerous form.

I have never seen Berdych at this high level throughout the whole match, beyond believe

impossible stats but true. Llodra played a good match, but Berdych was scary good, beyond brilliant.

Just a guess...but maybe he won't win because playing well against a crapper player today doesn't guarantee success against a better player tomorrow? 
I agree with the sentiment though....I really think Berdy has turned a corner this year. He is going to be a hard beat for most anyone he plays here. |
