Roland Garros R1: Ungur def. Nalbandian 6-3 5-7 6-4 7-5
One of these matches you see where the scoreline doesn't tell the story. Ungur totally outplayed Nalbandian from the baseline and was the more consistent player as well. David was 1/11 on BPs. But Ungur deserves credit here. Good serving and some awesome backhand winners. Dictated play pretty much throughout, made David move, and David just made too many bad errors, and didn't return consistently well.
Ungur hit an ace on BP in the final game.

So much for Federer getting a hard draw.

Nalbandian peaks for Davis Cup.
Ungur excellent win for him totally deserved, just hope he can play well against Fed in the next round.

I kept saying, Ungur can beat Nalbandian, why are you writing Nalbandian in R2? This isn't 2007 Nalbandian. He was outplayed. Ungur is a better shotmaker than Nalbandian is, anyway, at this point in their careers on this surface.

Poor Rogie and his oh so tough draw. He may as well not take to court in R2 to avoid certain embarassment.

First win of the season for Ungur
Awful performance by Nalby though.Staying for every return 10m behind the baseline and putting weak returns into play

A Fed-Nalby match in R2 would have been great... I guess this match summarize well the career of Nalbandian, totally wasted...
