Del Potro and Berdych are among most ,,non-ballbashers,, big hitters
Delpo hits with tospin on his shots and unleashed his monster FH when has set-up point, but basically he is playing from baseline and staying in rally and trying to take advantage with his powerfull strokes-not risky high % strokes - that´s why his record vs other big hitters is such great he is not making stupid errors like them
Berdych - he is much different player than he was years ago - he has very controlled groundstrokes and his FH changed - look at youtube his old matches and now his topspin FH and his easily controlled agression
Gulbis - this guy is joke, you think he is finally doing better and than another tournament and again he makes like million UE and is blasting winners to the net... all the time...

Gulbis and Rosol without any tiny doubt, they cannot be compared to the other ones you quote.
People probably haven't watched Chardy for a while : he now uses his brain a lot on court and has some versatility.
PS : only watched few games from Korolev then can't judge, but the other ones I saw.

Although James Blake is at the end of his career he has always been a supremely idiotic ball basher. The shame is that before his injuries Blake had great speed and movement which should have made his defense as strong as his offense. Blake may be the greatest wasted talent in tennis history.

I think they were playing the same game before changing their nationality. Russia probably produces the biggest brainless ballbashers on both tours. |
