Florida coach resigns after 11 seasons
Andy Jackson steps down
This is a good move. They have underachieved for a while now. The women's program has won back to back titles. There has been a problem with players transferring from Florida. Had they kept al their players they would have been title contendors. Players that transferred away from the Gators include; Carlos Cueto,Joey Burkhardt and Jeff Dadamo.
They should look to go big with the next hire. Maybe they can poach a coach at another big school if they pay him enough.

Re: Florida coach resigns after 11 seasons
They hired Georgia Tech womens coach Bryan Shelton. He won a national title at GT and has coach former mens pros. Everyone loves the hire.

Re: Florida coach resigns after 11 seasons
This may be a stupid question, but does that mean Delic is retiring from the tour?

Delic has a bad knee problem right now. But to answer your question, unofficially I'd say yes. But he can continue to play atp level tourneys. He will just have a major obligation from October-May
