Way To Go! Passed his biggest test yet.

He's such a crafty player! Wow, what a great win. I just read up on all his injuries. It's just incredible. Nearly every part of his body. For god's sake, he had Tommy John surgery! And, man, hip surgery. On both hips. Nobody comes back successfully from just one hip surgery...usually. Sure hope he's an exception...what a story that would be!

Another article..from Wall Street Journal two days ago...

Having been away for so long his recent successes notwithstanding, I do not believe he will have enough left in the tank to take the kuku out next. We saw how lackluster Seppi's performance was against Roger after those two epics and he's been here all along. However whatever happens this has been a revealing week for Baker. It has shown him the sky really is the only limit. Nothing is impossible.

I've watched this guy play and couldn't believe he was american...no yankee can excecute such crisp easy BH winners and redirect the ball effortlessly...except our man Baker of course

He played 13 matches in 14 days during Sarasota/Savannah string. Hasn't played for a couple of weeks. Shouldn't be too tired.

He sees the ball early. He has a big serve, aggressive groundstrokes and an awesome return of serve. Baker is the rocket.

He's barely played at the tour at all because of injuries, and now he just beat a top 15 player!

I like Gael, but he is overrated. Tsonga, Simon, and Gasquet are all more likely to do well at the French than him

I'm no Fakervic fan but he needs to save tennis, sadly tree trunk legs will be fresh. Interesting he's never questioned...

Yes, but only because Gael is injured.

Fit Gael is much more of a threat than all the other 3 put together at Roland Garros.
