Re: Week 24 : Monza (Entry List)
Berrer just isn't a good claycourter. I can't see anything he does well on the surface whatsoever. His shots are so attackable on clay and he doesn't move well enough to compensate.

True. I wouldn't be totally surprised to see someone in Berrer's position choose Queens over Halle, because he'd have direct entry into the event.

Re: Week 24 : Monza (Entry List)
M. Gonzalez def. Berrer 6-4 1-1 ret.
Michi had something wrong with his foot. Messed with it a ton during the break in-between sets. The main disappointment is this could hamper his grass-court season.

Re: Week 24 : Monza (Entry List)
Berrer is a choker. What he is doing here although he could play London or Nottingham? I can not understand this.

Probably wouldn't have mattered, in theory, if he's injured.

Re: Week 24 : Monza (Entry List)
Pella doesn't impress me as much in Europe as he did in South America. Seems like one of those guys who don't travel well.

Alves def. Pella 5-7 6-1 6-1
Terrible final two sets from Pella. He took a medical after the first set, and whatever was causing him issues obviously hampered him throughout the final two sets.

Berrer is a faker. He recognized that he is without a chance so he retired. Clown should call it career.

Lol, what a surprising win.
Defeated Dutra Silva last week, he is in good form.

Re: Week 24 : Monza (Entry List)
Gaba should have broken him the final, he missed a regulation forehand on one of the breakpoints. Awful loss, especially with the easy draw he had, too bad, because his form has been good as well. Could have been near top 100 after this week.
I will say, Viola played as well as I've seen him. He's actually got some game.
