I'd replace ate with eaten. Anything else? My English grammar isn't perfect.
A current trend on MTF and da interNetZ are sentences built like this found in countless variants:
"As good a volleyer he is, he can't..."
Something I hear over and over is “have went.” I’ve heard this even from someone on a TV news program. The complete disregard for irregular verbs grates my aged nerve endings like nothing else. Not to mention the failure to notice that “him and I” is NEVER correct in any context!
I did enjoy it. Thanks. I didn't know about "you was."

Yes, in modern English, it should definitely be "eaten," not ate.

I totally agree! "Have went" drives me crazy! Also driving me crazy: "should/could/would of."

Gulbis vs Verdasco? That's like Hema meeting JolanGago, has MENSA written all over it

Gulbis played awful in the first set though, lost it 2-6. The second one has been slightly better so far but he'll probably still lose in two.
I hope you're having fun at the beach

There was a customer today who had such a strong accent that when she try to order water I said we didn't have any because I couldn't understand what she said and thought she meant some exotic beverage I'd never heard of
