Bernard's Grasscourt Season 2012
Week off in Monte-Carlo then goes as follows:
Halle
Eastbourne
Wimbledon
Lets hope he can get some points in the first two tourneys to help defend some of those Wimbledon points from last year

Not sure what to expect of him on the grass this year. Will be interesting to see what happens, especially at Wimbledon. Halle has a strong entry list at the moment, so it is a tough tournament to start off with.

I agree that it is a tricky 1st round. At least since he is playing Haas the match should be streamed I think...

Won just 3 points on return, 5-2 Haas

I hate how everyone just assumed Bernard retired because he was getting smashed, im also annoyed and cant see how people dislike him so much, Bernard is a gun, in my mind no doubt a future Wimbledon winner, but i doubt he will ever reach number 1 in the world simply because he's not good enough on clay!

Well, I think he's built himself quite the reputation from things done and said throughout his career, which do him no favors. Then there's his dad who doesn't help things either I guess. Also, some people simply don't like his playing style. But whatever, I don't really let it bother me much...

Yeah i know all of that but still his great, his style he so good, i love it personally, and yeah his dad is a bit of a tosser! |

The update from TA said it was stomach cramps and that he should be fine for the upcoming tournaments.
Speaking of the upcoming tournament, at Eastbourne it looks like Bernard will be the 4th seed and get a bye in the first round. So that means one less match. Hopefully he can do something next week to make up and get some matches under his belt going into Wimbledon.
