Over in 35 minutes. One of the worst players I've ever seen, this Fitzpatrick Shit serve, inability to return returns, and inability to return serves. He really should not be getting a QWC at Wimbledon.
Good job from Freddie though He loves the grass and I hope he can make the Wimbledon QD.
how far does nielsen need to go here for that? i presume he needs to win the whole thing
I watched a bit of the Nielson / Fitzpatrick match too. Fitzpatrick looked like he was in the wrong sport. He's short but very well built. Huge arms. But unable to do, well, anything on court, really. Totally out of his depth.
James Ward also suffered a strange injury in the first game of his match against Baker. Baker hit a let serve and Ward didn't get out of the way quickly enough. The ball seemed to hit his left hand. He turned to face where I was sitting (facing away from Baker and the camera) with a huge grimace on his face and mouthed a few curse words under his breath. He spent the next few points stretching out his fingers and rotating his wrist etc. The trainer was called at 0-3 and I noticed he has taping around one or two of his fingers. Maybe this contributed to his terrible game play although he did pick up a little before the rain hit.

Re: Week 23: Nottingham ( Entry List)
Well, the tournament for me is actually better with Levine and Mannarino still in it, no offense to Ito and fans of Ito. But Jesse is close to top 100 and Adrian is in a desperate situation and loves grass. Also they both have more interesting games that Ito and that other guy, so I'm happy with the results.
With that being said, I wanted Karol to win this event, so now I'm already on Plan B. I hope Dima goes far here.
Berankis vs Pospisil, the match that i am looking forward to the most today. Berankis coming back from injury, still searching for form and any kind of rythm, needs match practise badly. However Vasek wasn't too overwhelming this season too, so i suspect it will go the distance... Would love to see Rycka winning it in straitghts, but i'll say Rycka in 3 sets today. Hopefully the weather will improve at Nottingham and we'll have an opportunity to have it played from start till the very end.
