I have no idea. But that would make his schedule quite tough and he would have no break between Indianapolis, LA, Washington, Montreal and Cincinnati
Now we have the June 26th... Indianapolis starts at 18th of July.... lets count the days backwards until he's in action again... such a long time

Re: *-Schedule-*
I bet he doesn't go to Washington. That will be too much tennis leading up to the open, unless he plans to "lose" early.
I might take a guess but when I saw him play yesterday (the hardly existent coverage) I noticed his shirt had Gieco emblem on it. So I guess he is sponsored by Gieco-an insurance company here in the states. When I went to the tournament website, the big Gieco logo flashed so I guess they sponsor the tournament. So apparently, Geico wants their sponsored players to play at their sponsored tournament.
If he does go to Washington, I imagine he drops out of another tournament. It wouldn't be Cincy or Montreal, so it would mean LA or Indy. Indy would be my guess. All the players like to go to LA and visit Hugh Heffner's house, so possibly couldn't delete that off the schedule.

Re: *-Schedule-*
hmm.... the reason i ask is cuz washington is so close to where i live... just 2 hours away so we were going to go down on Monday just to see him play and then come home.... so if he's not there its not a huge deal, since i'm going to both Montreal and USO, i just wondered cuz it would have been cool to take a day trip to see his match
thanks guys and neely i know... its gonna be so quiet and sad without any Kiwi

That's the same schedule Andy Roddick has this summer. (Maybe they will meet three tournaments in a row again. ) One thing to consider is that for seeded players, there are at least two days off in both Indianapolis & Washington (one at the beginning of the week & one in the middle). Los Angeles is only a 32 draw so there are at least two days off that week too. Even a player who made it to the final of all five tournaments would have eight days off in those five weeks.

FYI: He probably won't be playing on Monday: since Washington is a 48 draw this year (instead of 56), all 16 seeds will have first round byes. Considering the other entrants, Kiefer should be seeded:

Re: *-Schedule-*
Thanks for the info, smucav. I didn't think of that Washington is a more than 32 draw tournament.
Yes, your calculation about the days off sounds percectly right if I think it over. And probably he wouldn't reach the final in all of these tournaments either... lol! Actually I would be glad with reaching just one final but winning this time

That's on his website, but I hope he will add tournaments in week 41 (Moscow, Stockholm, Vienna) and week 43 (Basel, Lyon, St. Petersburg), because those weeks are really one of the best this year with 3 great tournaments in only one week.

I hope he is successful. Probably he is playing a bit more than usual because it's the end of the season and afterwards he has some rest anyway. Also there could be a chance for a tournament win of course also. Maybe it's happening in Asia or in Madrid or Paris
