Re: *-Schedule-*
Uh oh. But who cares about Exhibition events anyways? Just take a look at Haas' results in Kooyong 2007 and then at what he achieved at the Aussie Open.
He better win against Vince, though!

Re: *-Schedule-*
Well he lost. But grass court and match time is more important. He needs some matches.
Remembered Haas after his comeback 2004, he lost against Popp on hc.

Re: *-Schedule-*
YES YES YES !!!!!!! HE WON!!!!!!
In the second match of the day, Igor Andreev (RUS) dispatched fellow countryman Evgeny Korolev 6-4, 6-2 to progress to the next stage of the tournament. The final match saw a win for the battling German Nicolas Kiefer against the charismatic American Vince Spadea. Kiefer has not played much competitive tennis in the last year and this was only his third match back since a wrist injury in 2006.
Results from Wednesday 20th June:
• F. Verdasco (SPA) bt M. Safin (RUS), 4-6, 6-3, 10-4
• I. Andreev (RUS) bt E. Korolev (RUS), 6-4, 6-2
• N. Kiefer (GER) bt V. Spadea (USA), 7-6, 7-5

Re: *-Schedule-*
he will not play tomorrow... since Safin lost today I think he will play Safin on Friday....
Spadea is No 64 in the world. Only Kiwi's 3rd singles match and he already beat the NO 64. Ok... it was only a challenger but I am sure Spadea wanted to win this, too. He is also preparing for Wimbly.
And they said "battling Nicolas Kiefer"... that`s our Kiwi!!

Re: *-Schedule-*
Great that he won the match! I don't think Spadea on grass is a big number, but that's his first positive experience and I hope he feels good after that

Re: *-Schedule-*
young French star Gael Monfils came through a tough test against German Nicolas Kiefer. Monfils reversed his first set deficit, by winning the second set and a closely-fought match tie-break, putting him on the front foot going into Wimbledon next week. Monfils won 2-6, 6-3, 10-8 (Match Tie Break) in 68 minutes.
He lost but the "kampfmaus" is still living!!!!
