What??? Dominance on grass is not that rare - Borg, Becker, Sampras, Fed, whereas dominance on clay is just Rafa and Borg, period!

In the Open Era:

WIMBLEDON:
Sampras 7 titles
Federer 7 titles, 1 final
Borg 5 titles, 1 final
Becker 3 titles, 4 finals
McEnroe 3 titles, 2 finals

ROLAND GARROS:
Nadal 8 titles
Borg 6 titles
Lendl 3 titles, 3 finals
Wilander 3 titles, 2 finals
Kuerten 3 titles

not really, Ferrer and Roger (when he was younger)'s stamina are not a lot worst than Rafa. And Rafa always have knee problem.

Yes, really. Nadal is facing 2x weaker players then him mostly, (regarding power/stamina) and faced Fed like 5-6 times most, on clay when he was in his prime. After that is no contest, Nadal is in his best years, while Federer is near his end, i'm not saying that if Fed was younger/stronger will beat Nadal, but it would be closer.

As for other players and Ferer?

It was, and it is clay mug era, deal with it.

then isn't it the same for grass? How many decent grass court players there were and are when Roger was winning the Wimbledon? I am not saying Roger is not good on grass, he certainly is, but he is like Rafa on clay, got few persons to challenge him.

Maybe, but that makes the weak era debate to an end, and its same for Nadal like it was for Fed.

There is no such thing as weak era i was sarcastic.

Only in tennis (for Federer) we see such BS, amazing players from different sports are never accused for "being good cause lack of competition" you only see this in tennis, for Roger only.

Exactly. People keep acting like it was a random mug loss that proves how crappy Nadal actually is on grass (the same people who big note Rosol ironically). It was a tall big hitter serving bombs and painting lines for most of 5 sets under the roof on slick week one grass. Nadal would rather face Federer or Murray than that again any day.

It's not true that Rafa only wins cause he's stronger, he is also VERY talented. But this is a sport, they are supposed to be strong! And all top ATP players are so much stronger than the average man. If someone finds it unacceptable Rafa is strong he can switch to WTA...

Federer likely would have beaten Rosol. He would have used the slice a lot and wouldn't be feeding Lukas balls in his strike zone.

I don't actually think F1 suffered while Schumacher was active. Looked to me like they got a lot of attention then (and still do, of course). Besides, his was a different kind of dominance at it was the whole season, not just a part of it.

Default Fedal H2H getting more unfair each tournament

Over the past 8 years, Nadal has had a positive H2H against Federer. We all know, surface this, matchup, peaking, etcetera.
But the thing is that Nadal, due to the seeding the both players always have, can only face Federer from quarters and most likely semi's and finals. But, as is always said, Nadal needs to find rythm in a tournament, so in the early rounds he is more likely to lose than in the latter. Nadal is less consistent than Federer, who tends to reach the latter stages of a tournament, no matter how bad he plays. You almost never see him losing before the quarters of any tournament.
That means that when Nadal meets Federer, without looking at surface/matchup/age crap, he will at least be in good shape (else he would've lost to someone), while Federer can meet him either while playing good or while playing bad.
An important factor. Look at Wimbledon last year. Federer played a great tournament, especially the last two rounds, beating Djokovic and Murray. It's not unlikely he could've beaten Nadal, seeing how Nadal lost to Rosol in the second round. But, it never came to a meeting.

it seems that not only rafa fans make pre-mature/silly threads, roger fans too. My suggestion would be to go make an appeal against the ATP to make all surfaces indoor then.
