Default First Time in Open Era: 4 quarter-finalists aged over 30. Who will reach the final?

This is the first time in the open era that 4 quarter-finalists are above 30 years old.

(2) Federer b.1981 aged 31 taking on Tsonga
(4) Ferrer b.1982 aged 31 taking on Robredo
(12) Haas b.1978 aged 35 taking on Djokovic
(32) Robredo b.1982 aged 31 taking on Ferrer.

This is pretty amazing considering there have been 180 grand slams in the open era.

Will we see a tricernarian in the final? Federer, Ferrer, and Robredo are on one side of the draw, with only Tsonga in the way. Haas is on the other side, but he's got Djokovic and Nadal to deal with.

No love for Robredo ?

Actually, Robredo/Ferrer have a good chance to be in their final. If Tsonga beats Fed (as it may well happen nowadays, both Robredo and Ferrer have a good chance against Tsonga.

As much as MTF hates them, Tommy and David may play in a slam final

If Fed manages to beat Tsonga, I can't see him not reaching the final. He ain't losing to Ferru. If Tsonga makes it to the semis, there's a big chance that Ferru will grind him down and reach his first slam final .

Yikes, not looking good for the old men. It's up to Ferrer (and Haas) to teach those young'uns a lesson.

Ferrer leads 2-1 against Tsonga. Haas... well, he's got nothing to lose.

PS. Anyone knows if you can edit poll options.. I forgot to add NONE.

Good pick to those 8 people who believed in Ferrer.

Indeed, it is Ferrer who will represent the 30 year old men in the final, beating out the likes of 17 grand slam winner Federer, true 35 yr old veteran Haas, and comeback kid Robredo.

Good job old bugger! Now go win the whole thing
