Munich R2: Matosevic def. Farah 6-1 6-7(2) 6-2
First quarter final on clay for Marinko continuing his good start to the season.
Farah just was only there in name in the first set but credit to Matosevic for playing a good match recovering from serving for the match at *5-4.
On some of the forehands Farah was moving so poorly and getting frustrated.

Should have been a straight sets victory, and it took him several MPs to get it done, but MM got through in the end. MM was better from the baseline overall and returned aggressively, his weapons ended up imposing on Farah more than Farah's did on MM, outside of when MM got tight when trying to close the match out. Good fight from Robert, he played the most offensive when behind and was really attacking the net well the end of the second set, but that wasn't enough.

Hope Matosevic makes the top 100, he has done it hard way. Wasn't funded by TA, had to have group lessons for a while and yes the forehand isn't great but making the most of his game.
