Barcelona R3: Nadal def. [Q] Farah 6-2 6-3
Rafa was good in the first set, meh in the second, but enough to win. Return of serve, first serve percentage fell off in the second set, started landing more balls short, and into Farah's BH. He moved well and hit the forehand on the run very well.
Robert played pretty well. His BH is a very good shot, but his forehand and second serve are weaknesses. Still, an awesome week for Robert and something he can build on.

I said in the WWW thread that 5 games would be a good showing for Farah.
And it was.

Farah was kind letting Nadal get 5 games.

If you said 5 games before the start of the match, yeah it would be a good showing. But when he is at 5 and has 40-15 on his serve, you would like to see him win a lot more

Not a bad patch of play from Farah at certain times in both sets. However whenever it got somewhat close, Faria choked and folded pretty hard which was a shame.
I am not happy with the clay warrior king.

Quite impressed with Farah, has a decent game and didn't give up after going a break down in the second. Shame to end it with a DF.
Nadal was a bit careless today, could have gotten off court sooner.

This year reminds me of 2009, I don't think Nadal will win RG. Not with knee issues. Advantage Nole.

A Fedtard hoping for knee injury, what a surprise. Just so you know it won't help Olderer fluke his second RG title, so calm down.

I never wished him that. I'm just saying that he is having problems with his knees and it's not a coincidence since in 2009 after the final in the AO which was a 5 setter, he ended up having knee issues that hampered his year. He can't play 5 setters on HC without having problems in the future but unlike 2009, this year he ended up empty handed after the long AO final. No trophy there.
As for Federer he will have better chances to win in USO or Wimbledon.
It's very hard to win 2 Career Slams.
But Nole could win his NCYGS and Career Slam, specially if Nadal overplays during the clay season and has knee troubles in RG.

Farah has talent but appears to be the 3rd Columbian choker
