It would seem this summer's Masters events have a solid chance for a first time winner. So a player who likely won't medal at the Olympics but good on hard court would have a great shot.

That makes it between del Potro and Raonic. Last year, Raonic didn't play in the summer so we don't actually know yet the effect of having home crowd support. My pick is del Potro - after all, he's already won the big one so pressure of a mere Masters title won't come into play.

Del Potro already won a slam, so it won't really make a difference winning a M1000 now. But anyway I think he will win Cinci or Canada (maybe Madrid).

Raonic will definitely be one of the first new ones soon. come on if he has a great serving week he can easily do it esspecially with most masters being so short in duration. I mean I could see him winning Canada this summer if he gets into the groove with all the home support, and the kid has got balls and is extremely clutch.

i think he's robotic and a bit boring but i totally see him winning one this year or next. guys confident and not afraid to risk it sometimes

honestly we can't say it was a fluke exactly because there's no such thing as 'fluke' wins really but what we can say is that Del Potro the majority of the time is nowhere near as good as he was that year at the US OPEN.

Del Potro can get hot but he just has never been the same since early 2010. he will likely never match a player like Murray even though he leads him with the GS win.

I hope this will change because i love del potro, but something seems to be missing. he used to seem more creative and more INTO the game, now he just hits his famous power forehands from the baseline but you always feel when watching him like he doesn't quite have the confidence and doesn't quite have the weapons besides the go to forehand. just feel like something is missing.

Murray is a much better player than Del Potro overall. I hope Juan gets his magic back and I hope he improves but we definitely can say that is 2009 US OPEN form was essentially a one time thing so far in his career

Monfils. Not because he's the best player in the list, but because Paris1000 suits him so well. He's made 2 finals there already and took Djokovic to a final set tiebreaker in 2009. Plus a lot of players are fatigued/injured by that time of the year so hopefully Monfils can take advantage.
