Bucharest R1: [Q] Brands def. Dodig 7-6(4) 6-2
Very good from Daniel from the end of the first set onward. Really dictated play with his forehand and served well. Only lost four points on serve in the second set. Dodig really fell off in set two. His level of play is simply very mediocre. Didn't really do much to impact the course of the match, until he fell apart and started donating errors.
Daniel has a great opportunity here, he needs to try to take advantage.

Not a surprising result, as Dodig is poor on clay and Brands is not.

Even if he doesn't, I think Wimbledon should consider giving him a WC. He had that decent run to R4 a couple of years ago, and the AELTC is likely to have 4-5 WCs leftover anyway.
