Re: Football Zone (Man City win the EPL)
happy for chelsea . i am a grateful man and everybody who takes out barca deserves to win title. even without it they were so unlucky all these years. i am feeling sorry just because bayern had a luck on penalties against Madrid . Olic missing a penalty was biggest nid in history of football . the most annoying croatian player in history just became more loved by my side. anyone who allows olic to take penalty deserves to lose

Re: Football Zone (Man City win the EPL)
Well done to Chelsea. Lots of close calls in the CL but Abramovich finally gets it.
Great goal and pen by Drogba. Great pens by Lampard, Cole and Luiz.

Only thing that could save this is Germany winning the Euro Cup

Re: Football Zone (Man City win the EPL)
Bayern deserved this all the way but Chelsea really put their hearts in the match with many key absences
Drogba almost became from hero to zero when he caused the penalty but in the end will take the MOTM award for the fight shown

Re: Football Zone (Man City win the EPL)
Congrats from a MUFC fan. First London club to be champions. Gunners lose claim to Kings of London title.
Lol at how it all went sideways for Bayern when they had all the aces.

Liverpool FC need to return to the good old days when the players were born and bred locally. Dalglish, Keegan, McDermott, Kennedy, Lawrenson, Hansen, Grobelaar, Toshack, Molby ........ or were they just the Chelsea of the 70's buying the best talent available in the market?

Congratulations to anti-football!
Congratulations to financial doping!
Congratulations to organized crime!
Must be an amazing feeling for Chelsea fans to watch their club fluke a CL-title because some billionaire gangster wanted a new hobby.
Congrats! You deserve it!

Re: Football Zone (Man City win the EPL)
Robben not taking a penalty in the shootout, questionable.

Re: Football Zone (Man City win the EPL)
Very nice to see a new, first-time winner of the Champions League title again, the last being Dortmund in 1997. Chelsea rode their luck of course but their never say day attitude and self-belief shone through.
This defeat will be far tougher for Bayern to take than the 1999 final. Also this is the first time that they have gone 2 straight years without winning a trophy since the early 90s. Emulating Leverkusen's feat of finishing second in all 3 competitions in one season will sting.
Drogba delivers the goods in a big game once again. Since he joined Chelsea, they have played in 9 cup finals, and he has scored in 8 of them. He deserves this success more than any other member of Chelsea's squad.
