When?

No love for Levante? The oldest team from Valencia qualified for the Europa League after beating Athletic Bilbao 3-0 today, and will thus play international football for the first time in their 103 years of history.

Congratulations!

Great story this Levante team, wish they had made Champions League over Malaga.

Malaga only did it cause of all the money the sheikhs have poured on and an impotent Sporting who went out with a whimper. Clemente only good for media comments.

Levante going to struggle in Europe, but they are making history and any team that has pizza and beer diet can't be bad.

Yes an incredible achievement by Levante to finish 6th and qualify for the Europa League, with the smallest budget in La Liga. I wish them all the best in the competition next year. They were the only team to beat RM in the league apart from Barça. Sergio Ballesteros outsprinting Ronaldo was just brilliant .

Their great season and the Copa Del Rey run by Mirandés captained by the bank clerk Pablo Infante were the best stories of the season in Spain.

PSG apart from being Parisians sacked the coach who was leading the league. It would be justice if they didn't win it after the farce today.

Man City should loan Wigan some players next season without their win against Man U, they wouldn't have got the crown.

Rayo Vallecano are from Madrid they aren't bad. Fulham are from London I don't mind them.

RM awesome season they have had, well deserved all their success this season.

I had already forgotten about that.

We shouldn't forget Ballesteros is 36 and weighs 93kg.

Not only are they the team with the smallest budget, but they have the highest average age.

I am truly happy for Levante. I have many friends who have been Levante fans for life, loyally buying season tickets every year in the hope of catching a glimpse of a football smile. Glad they're having a good one in northern Valencia for a change.

Speaking of capitals, Berlin is close to yet again becoming probably the only European capital without a team in the top flight. Hertha lost the first leg of the relegation playoff at home to Fortuna Dusseldorf 2-1.

Just got back from hours of drunken celebration after the City win. What an amazing finish. I thought for sure we were down and out after QPRs second goal but man, those stoppage time goals from Dzeko and Aguero were amazing, as were the looks on SAF and Rooney's face when they found out City had won.

Crazy, but amazing season...2012 PREMIER LEAGUE CHAMPS

Great to see Rayo Vallecano stay up after a nervy few weeks. Finished the season with a big win today.

Levante's achievement is fantastic, one of football's great stories. I hope Rayo and Levante's success is not short lived and that they both have more success next season.

Default Re: Football Zone (Man City when the EPL)

Very proud of our players and the fans that stuck by the club through the lows. Time to look ahead to next season and hopefully repeating this while making an impact in the premier league.

Who should stay and who should go in my opinion:
- Kompany is extended till 2016, which is a great decision. He's a rock back there and one of the best defenders in world football
- Clichy and Richards should be good for at least the next 3-4 years as full backs. Zabaleta and Kolarov are solid insurance policies.
- Lescott has been great this season and has made very few mistakes. He keeps improving and he definitely deserves to stick around long term.
- Yaya Toure has been one of the most important players this year and with his huge salary, he'll have no intent of going elsewhere.
- Barry's been solid this season and can be relied upon to play his limited role in a pinch. Him and De Jong should compete for the spot next season.
- Milner was solid as well this season and even outplayed Nasri for a large part of it. He's got a great work rate, is good on set pieces and is great to have off the bench.
- Tevez, as much as I hate to admit it, was crucial in bringing City back to the top in the latter portion of the season. When it's all said and done, despite his attitude, he's a hell of a player and when he's on the pitch and simply gets it done. Let him play off the few good years he has remaining on his contract and if he acts up again, send him packing.
- Balotelli is one of the most talented young players in the world and one of the most fun to watch. Yes, he's got to tone down his antics and learn to compose himself better but he had great moments this season and was vital to the title campaign. We'll regret letting him walk in a few years...this guy is a sure fire superstar if he keeps progression and has a great personality off the pitch.
- I doubt Dzeko is content being a 3rd or 4th choice striker but if he is...he's definitely an awesome late game sub. Keeping him at City might help us get Modric which would be amazing.
- Adam Johnson is talented and has played pretty well when he's had his chances.
- Nasri had his moments but was a bit of a disappointment for me. Maybe he'll be better next season when he's had a year in the system.
- Silva and Aguero are obviously invaluable to the team and irreplaceable.

- Kolo Toure will probably look to leave, but it would be nice to have him if Lescott or Kompany get hurt.
- Stefan Savic was so atrocious this season and actually cost us a few games due to defensive blunders. I know he's young, but I doubt he ever becomes a great player. Loaning him out would be great...
- Owen Hargreaves is finished. He can never stay healthy...don't bother trying to sign him again.
- John Guidetti is really talented and it seems he had a great season for Feyenoord. He won't see much first team action so another loan to give him regular first team play would be a good idea.
- If Dzeko walks, trying to convince Adebayor to stay would be cool. I'm still a fan of the guy despite his moments of laziness and lack of motivation. Doesn't seem like Mancini likes him though.
- Keeping Pizarro wouldn't be a bad idea. The need for a deep lying playmaker should badly at points and Pizarro's creativity and long passing actually helped us get a few wins. He seems like a good glue guy.
- If we get Hazard, stick him in the starting 11 right away where Nasri plays. This kid has superstar written all over him.

Next year's best possible lineup:

Hart
Richards - Kompany - Lescott - Clichy
Yaya - De Jong
Silva - Tevez - Hazard
Aguero

Subs:
Pantilimon
Balotelli
Kolarov
Nasri
Dzeko
Zabaleta
