I admire your loyalty to Milan, if nothing else.
The game was pretty even before Candreva was robbed. No way can you say Milan would have won regardless of the red card.
Once Klose comes back, Lazio will show everyone that they are UCL material, at least. Besides, before he got injured they were Scudetto material.

It's not a world record. Dunno, who holds the record, but I know that Peter Shilton for example has played over 1300 games (of course not all at the highest level like Giggs), Paolo Maldini has made more than 1000 senior appearances as well as an example.

I was hoping he will hold that record ;( bummer but how many games Maldini have played? I wanna see if highs can overcome him, he was a great player and I must add...very beautiful

Yes, Javier Zanetti has 1078, if the ever reliable wikipedia is to be trusted.

Re: Football Zone
Roura loses another big game.
Barca will be out of the CL in 10 days' time. RM may just sneak through.

Re: Football Zone
I think Shilton shouldn't be compared to Maldini, Zanetti and Giggs, being a goalkeeper.

Zanetti is still playing week in-week out, so he's not going to be caught by Giggs.

Indeed and judging by this, he'll be playing for years and years to come:

I believe the first one is from 1996, when he was 23, he's hardly changed.
Btw. I do agree about Shilton, even if it's still a massive achievement to play all those games.

Re: Football Zone
Zanetti doesn't age. It's unbelievable.
And Maldini played 25 years at Milan. Started when he was 16 and retired when he was 41.
