Don't get people who pity the ball boy here. I mean, come on, it was kick, but some guys are acting like Hazard starting hiting him with a baseball bat or something. This was totally uncalled for from the ball boy, he shouldn't have done it and, in my opinion, he got what he deserved. But this was in no ways brutal or dangerous. It's really driving me mad how everything gets blown out of proportion nowadays. Just look what the ball boy did afterwards, lying on the pitch for a minute or so and acting like Hazard just shot him. Faking injuries seems to become quite en vogue nowadays and I firmly believe anyone commiserating this ball boy completely misses the point.
That being said, totally brainless by Hazard of course.
Being the nosey prick that I am, I searched for the ball boy's twitter account (incidentally it now has 50k followers) and by the looks if it, he's always been a dork. The amount of abuse he is getting is ridiculous, but deserved.
Now we really are going to have to pray that he'll withstand it!
Swansea surely will sack that ballboy. Lying down and holding on to the ball was ridiculous. Also his theatrics were as good as those from Rivaldo at the 2002 World Cup. Of course Hazard should not have reacted in the way he did either.
Swansea have never won a major trophy in their history, while Bradford won their only major trophy 92 years ago in the 1911 FA Cup, so this really is the perfect final.
I think Swansea are much better to watch under Laudrup than under Rodgers. Under Rodgers they passed the ball sideways a lot and waited for the opposition to make a mistake. Under Laudrup, they still pass the ball around a lot and keep it on the ground, but look to attack opponents much quicker and reduce the unnecessary sideways passing. Each pass has more of a purpose under Laudrup. Pass and move football at pace is much more aesthetically pleasing than slower tiki taka IMO.
I like Laudrup's managerial style as well, he seems so calm and composed.
