Re: Football Zone
Prem title race is boring anyway and will remain boring regardless of whether manc blue or manc red wins it.

The only team to have had an 100% record at Arsenal's old Highbury stadium
The first team in European football to have an American owner who played as a goalkeeper
The holder of the record scoreline in English football

Re: Football Zone
An added bonus to Deuce's goal is that he helped bridge the gap between City and Manure to a manageable 5 points.
Altidore with a hat trick, Dempsey with 4 goals in his past 4 games, Bradley's been one of Roma's most consistent performers this year, Stu Holden back from injury, and Geoff Cameron a pillar of one of the EPL's stingiest defense. Great time for the US internationals to be rounding into form for the hex.
Stoke apparently will buy the talented 22 year old Brek Shea for £5 million from FC Dallas.

Re: Football Zone
For the first time since 1994/1995, Spurs should finally finish above Arsenal in the Premier League this season. They are clearly the best team in North London, and shouldn't choke away their lead over Arsenal like they did last season.
It would be great for Spanish football if Atleti could split the big two in Spain like Villarreal did in 2008, and finish 2nd, and ahead of their neighbours for the first time since 1995/1996. It would be incredibly boring and terrible for Spanish football if both Barça and RM finish in the top two yet again. RM haven't finished outside the top two since 2003/2004, even when they were incredibly crap in 2004/2005, 2005/2006 and 2008/2009.
Man for man they have a better team and squad than Man Utd, and should get the job done in the Champions League should they play to their potential. Mourinho and Ferguson are both keen to equal Bob Paisley's record of 3 European Cup/Champions League titles as a manager.

Re: Football Zone
Good to see Guardiola choosing Bayern over Chelsea and Man City. I don't like Bayern at all, but they are an absolutely massive club, possibly one of the 5 biggest football clubs on the planet, along with RM, Barça, Man Utd and Milan.
They are clearly the best run out of Europe's big clubs as well, based on everything from their financial health, the fact that they never really need to sell their star players to generate funds, and their attention to detail with matchday arrangements. Plus over the last 3 years or so, they have averaged the 2nd highest possession stats in Europe after Barça, and they have a good youth academy.
The Bundesliga is going places and an exciting place to be. The best run league in Europe by far, although English still has the best football league pyramid in the world by far as their lower leagues blow those in other countries out of the water.
To be fair many people wrongly lump Man City into the same category as Chelsea, but Sheikh Mansour is far more patient and supportive than Abramovich, and he would definitely give a manager more time to achieve success. Mancini probably would have been sacked at least 3 times during his reign at Man City had Abramovich been the owner.

Exactly. And besides, finishing top 4 is all that matters these days. Fergie's the only one who actually cares about winning it.

I will chop off my left ear if Spurs finish above Arsenal. The theme of choking is synonymous with Tottenham Hotspur FC, this year should be no different.
Besides, Arsenal are getting their nightmare fixtures out of the way soon.

Re: Football Zone
Gaetano D'Agostino, a huge underachiever and vastly talented midfielder (some of the best passes I've ever seen when at his peak stage).. once disputed between Juve and Real Madrid, now heading to PESCARA CALCIO. this is football.
