Re: Football Zone
It's a huge shame that we couldn't hold on to our lead at Turf Moor and conceded yet another late equaliser. However Burnley were the better team for most of the game, especially the 1st half, so it would it have been daylight robbery had we come away with the win.
It does make me feel better though that no matter how incredibly shit we are and how well Burnley are playing, they still cannot beat us. Our unbeaten streak against them continues.

Xavi also deserved it for 2010, incredible year for club and country but unfortunately they changed the format that year to allow national team coaches and captains to get the vote. He and Wes Sneijder were robbed

Re: Football Zone
Fulham could use a little Dempsey right about now considering they're about 5 points above the relegation zone. Great to see Dempsey play an excellent game against his former team amidst the boos and the two faced Martin Jol team struggle.

Re: Football Zone
AVB is doing well considering how desperate Fleet Street's finest (who are all bezzie mates with rent-a-quote Harry) are for him to fail, especially after he dropped some of Ingerland's 'heroes' in his Chelsea stint.

Re: Football Zone
So Sunderland have won just 2 out of their last 22 league games. To be honest I do think that Martin O'Neill is a very overrated manager. Like Redknapp he is very popular with the media, and is also good friends with Ferguson, which helps enhance his reputation.
Seemingly his only transfer policy is to waste money on overpriced British players, while other mangers are able to sign better quality foreign players at bargain prices.
I always thought that Strachan, who was unpopular with the fans due to his Aberdeen connections, did a better job than him at Celtic. He spent less money that O'Neill, but won 3 consecutive SPL titles and twice took Celtic to the knockout stages of the champions league (which O'Neill was unable to do). O'Neill lost out in the SPL title race to McLeish (who was not exactly an amazing manager) and a pretty weak Rangers team twice in 3 years.

He spent a lot of money at Villa as well on overpriced British players and ultimately that's why Lerner got fed up and balanced the books. That being said I can understand why Wycombe and Leicester fans love him as he did work wonders at those clubs. The 2000 League Cup final still grates

And we got Derby away, about as exciting as watching 50-shot rallies wth Monfils and Simon.

Re: Football Zone
Wow, Benitez has been in charge just 3 matches and is already the 2nd favorite to be sacked, if he doesn't win on Wednesday, then he could have possibly the shortest tenure in history, even then Roman still might sack him if they don't make the next round, cause that's how he rolls.
I don't know how Mancini is still in charge at City, or O'Neill at Sunderland, McDermott and Adkins are on thin ice too, Wenger should go as well.
