Obviously that stat doesn't tell the whole truth, you'd have a different player on the pitch instead of Van Pursestrings, who could perhaps contribute goals and assists of their own. Hernandez and Welbeck are obviously very able.

This is the poorest start to the Premier League, quality-wise, by everyone, I've ever seen. It says it all that this season's outstanding performers are West Brom, who'd usually be lower mid-table or relegation candidates. I don't think they're that good, just organised very well by a superbly intelligent coach in Stevie Clarke.

I hope the standard of football in the league increases.
Either that, or the league is better than it's ever been, so clubs can't manage as many great performances, cause the other clubs are either matching, or coming close to matching them.

No team is exceptional, but I think Man City probably have the best defence, or will develop into possessing it in the near future. They have the best defender in the league, Vincent Kompany, and the best teenage defender in the league, Matija Nastasic. That already has the makings of a superb combination, or at least that's how I see it.

Man City overcomplicate things by switching between a classic back-four, and a back-three, with wing-backs to the side. I think these unnecessary tactical changes have caused them to leak too many goals, but they are still statistically the best, and I agree with the stats as usual.
How can they leak too many goals when they have leaked less than anyone.

Yup, Rafa has arrived. Plugged in the defensive holes and left nothing up front. Having said that, Flum parked their team bus too.

That's 5 hours, 21 minutes since we last scored (including 0-3 Juventus). Can't remember the last time our confidence was this low. Glad at least Rafa looked and sounded optimistic.

I myself have a Sporting shirt, did not know they were your club, how nice. I don't keep hating someone for things they did years ago, maybe I don't like Jose's attitude sometimes, but he wins, you can't argue with that, his methods may be questionable, but he get's results, same with Sir Alex.

On the pitch Ronaldo is decent most of the time, this season being an exception, off it, not so much, but I'll only look to his footballing.
I'm not saying they don't have the team to do it. Of course they have. But they are not playing like winners to me right now. OF course Borussia have a great team, and they are focused only on Cl this year, but still finish behing them in group stage, can't be a good sign. Also means they (probably) will have a thougher draw in the last 16, but we'll see.

Great that you have a Sporting shirt I said I hate Mourinho, I'm not saying he's not good. For me, results wise, he's the best coach in the world. Doesn't mean I have to like him. And yes, I can't forget those things even in 30 years time (if I'm alive). That's just how I am in football. I ain't saying it's a good thing, but that's my personality.

And yes, I agree that CR7 atitude off the pitch has to improve a lot, for his own good. Also being in that shitty club doesn't help his cause. I hope he gets away from there, in the end of this season (but I doubt it).

Jese Rodriguez is also a big talent, but he plays for the wrong club

Middle one is Deulofeu though, last one is Sergi Samper
