Spare the nonsense. Don't go in over the ball with studs showing. If a player has to leave the ground to make a tackle they haven't read the game and been caught out. Ramsay got his leg broken from a tackle going in over the ball that's not hard, it's shit defending.

Nonsense? Bless you, son. If you get the ball, which Shelvey did, you stay on the pitch and play goes on. Or at least that is how it should be. Football is meant to be a contact sport, and it's decision like this w high are making it more like netball.
You mentioned Shawcross' tackle on Ramsey. That one was different, he got nowhere near the ball, two feet on Aaron's shin, means he goes. |
