Giampaolo surely didn't have a great season but he's a killer and relatively young too.

Re: Football Zone
I think AVB did OK. He could have done a lot better, yes, but he got Chelsea through to the last 16 of the UCL, through in the FA Cup, kept them in touch for the race for UCL football. It was a fair effort, considering he managed a team in transition.

AVB does have an annoying way of articulating his thoughts. It's very business-like with the use of words like 'project'. He's a great manager though. He did OK at Chelsea and was manager of te year for Europe when he won Porto the EUROPA League.

He tried to impose his style of football on a group of players that weren't suited to it and they struggled but they weren't heading for relegation and not to League 2 either.
He did OK at Watford too.

As an Arsenal fan, I'd happily give you RVP now. Works well for both parties.
We get rid of the trash who is disloyal plus €20M, and you get a top-class goalscorer that you so desperately need.
Matri didn't look like he had enough goals in him for me. Pazzini may be better than last year showed, but at a big club, with big ambitions, he failed and they failed. Needs a season to rebuild his confidence IMO, and that's not at Juve.

I would gladly welcome RVP's arrival, a little less € with Giovinco as part of the payment would be awesome though. Too good to be true I'm afraid Unfortunately, Marotta already said Arsenal's not willing to let him go and judging by the rest of the interview, he's too far away from Juve at the moment and in the near future.
An extra season at a smaller club for Pazzini to rebuild some confidence you mean? Can't see it, he's 27 and at a stage of his career were it's basically now or never at one of the big teams. Maybe he'll bounce back at Inter, seems like he would only come if we sell Matri and, again, can't see him at smaller teams mainly because of economical reasons. Maybe a late loan for him though, you never know.

If Pazzini doesn't take a step down for a year, he will continue to be very average. Look at Lucas Barrios and what happened to him. Pazzini had a worse season, and shouldn't make the same mistakes.
