Default Whic is/was the toughest task in tennis in the open era.

Dedicated to start da game.

Is winning 16 grand slams the toughest? or
Is winning 14 grand slams the toughest? or
Is winning 10 grand slams the toughest?

Uhhhhhhhhh. I'm going to go with 16, but I already knew that.
Sorry no poll, never make threads.

Discuss this deep question.

If you define 10 as 16 and 16 as 10 then its harder to win 10.

For a serious answer, probably Laver's calendar year Slam or a career grand slam back when the surfaces weren't all so similar (i.e. Agassi's).

Clearly winning 10 with 6 on clay because this is the Battlefield of the Gods.

Winning the coin toss. Some say it's all luck but it's pretty much all strategy. Some players have choked the coin toss many times. Need preparation with spartan mindset and way too tight underwear and you are ready.
