There is a poster on MTF though who claims he once took a set off of Dodig, but I think that was a while ago.

Karlovic is so not the easiest. No-one here would win more than 3 return points an entire two-set match vs Ivo and he'd win return points on our serves.

none because I am a decent recreational player and that's all besides some playing in high school and potentially maybe a bit in college. the OP is vastly underrating the skill and talent the top 100 tennis players have either purposely or ignorantly?? it would be extremely difficult even for a great college tour player to take a set off of a top 100 pro so let's be realistic. all of the top 100 have great skill sets in their entire games. they hit so incredibly fast and with such precision and most have been bred since they could walk. I am unfamiliar with if there are any pros from the challenger tour that post on here, but obviously the majority of tennis freaks here who are passionate recreational players can't win a set. or probably even a game. regardless of if the opponent is Karlovic.
pros hit the ball at such an insane pace and have mastered tennis, it's like asking if the best boxer at your local gym could win a round against Mohommad Ali  |

When I was in my prime, I think I could take a set off Djokovic * in his prime. 
But it's difficult to compare different eras.
*M.Djokovic  As long as I got invited to the same tournament. Oh wait, top 100, not 1000. Sorry...
Then maybe Bjorn Phau [103, close enough...] on grass, but "I'll never know. We'll all never know".
