At least this win will move him back into the top100 and hopefully give him the confidence to win more of these matches in the future. Berdych will be tough but Grigor can beat him as long as he sorts out his 1st serve.

So happy Grigor won. Before going to the bed he had won the 1st set.
This morning I saw he lot the 2ond.
Now be free and beat Berdych - tou can!!!
The important is to change him the rhythm with many slice BH.
Thomas likes to lean on the ball and without rhythm he has some problem.
Grigor has also to move him large and long-short the court.

@Fed_BG - so you were awake until Grisho won?...Nice! I did this only few times.

@Mongoose - where did you watch Grigor? - Live or some TV channel?

I'm sorry but I'm a little bit severe. If he playes not with the top players, and you lose your serve, they give you some chance and you can re-enter.
If you do it againt on Berdych you lose the set and if he gives you a chance to come back or saves himself with a good serve or you having more pressure are going to reduce the possibility of braking him back.

I posted a couple of videos from last night's match in the video thread. They were taken court-side so the quality isn't great but at least you will get a feel for how he was playing.

Mongoose posted this comment at GM. He/she was at the match, on the court.

True that, to beat Berdych you need a good serve or excellent returns to get more chances. Grigor isn't the best receiver on tour so hopefully he will serve better.

Hey guys, Grigor plays the first match on stadium court tomorrow at 11am local time, which i think is 4pm GMT.

In the past he has always played his bet tennis on the big stadium courts, so lets hope for the same again tomorrow
