CH Dallas R2: Haas def. Mahut 6-2 6-1
Tommy had a handful of MP's to win the second set in a bagel. Very impressive performance overall from Tommy. Returned well and hit the backhand very well; on passing shots, both cross-court and DTL in rallies, and with the slice. Served better today than he has been in recent matches. Nicolas was error-prone but not horrible, he was simply dissected by Haas in all departments. He played his best the last couple games of the match but it was too late by then.
Tommy is starting to find some form again, boys and girls.

Looking better, but I actually thought he played already very good in Melbourne.
Haas is scheduled to play Miami next week with a protected ranking? I thought you could play nine tournaments.
Last year: RG, Wimbledon, Washington, Cincinnati, US Open and Basel.
This year: Brisbane, Aussie Open and IW.
That's nine tournaments.
