Default IWR2: Almagro def. Querrey 5-7, 6-4, 6-4

Cant really comment on the match to much but it was tight like expected

first set was a break fest with 5 breaks of serve in 12 games. Sam never broke nicolas again for the rest of the match and nicolas broke sam twice more but thats all he needed.

Wasn't a good match at all from Sam's perspective. 50 errors, bad returning, bad backhands, poor movement, poor first serve percentage. Almagro controlled around 80% of the rallies, and Sam didn't dictate enough and use his strengths to his advantage. He's a shadow of the player he was before the elbow injury.

Almagro was inconsistent but he served well overall the final two sets and played better as the match went on for the most part.

Totally charming win from Mugro. Turned up the heat in the second set and was unstoppable after that.

Querrey missed three break points at *12 in the third, but made unforced errors on all of them. Then he gets broken from 1540* in the next game.

Almagro was happy just to keep the ball in play for most of the match. He was also very emotional and did his vamos/stare routine a lot. Querrey is still a mess.

Expected, Querrey has nothing without 1st serve over Almagro. Slow surface, Almagro clearly far better player in rallies, good 1st serve by himself, Querrey pathetic if he miss 1st serve, can´t do nothing on 2nd serve, in rallies is very bad, trying to go for big FH and is making errors like error machine... still don´t get it how Querrey was leading H2H, but there were times when Almagro wasn´t top 15 guy and Querrey was far better but right now there is huge difference between them

Just like last year vs Troicki, difference in heart lost it for Querrey vs the top 32
And even if you hate Almagro, you can't deny he has plenty of heart

But it's okay, because the top 10 playing more is good for the game!
