About three weeks ago, I was able to get tickets to the men's semifinals in Roland Garros. Even though I bought the tickets basically the minute they became available, all the good places had sold out and I got seats at the very last row of the stadium. Does anyone have an experience with seats that high up? Can you even see the players and the ball well?

I went to Roland Garros in 2009 and had tickets near the top for court Philippe Chatrier and the view was fine, could see the ball and players clearly.

It really depends how the court is designed though, I mean from experience at the O2 Arena for example the seats right at the top are pretty amazing considering the shape of the arena whereas at Arthur Ashe you might as well not even bother getting a ticket at the top tier and watch on TV instead.

But yeah, you'll most likely be fine.

Also, to make the experience the experience even more fun, I was going to make a huge sign for Federer, maybe even dress crazily so that I can get caught on one of the cameras. But do the cameras even film that high and can anyone even read a sign from that high up?

Also, I wanted to get autographs so I was going to bring a big ball to try and get signed. Is there any way to run down from the top of Phillipe Chatrier to where the player exit after the match, and fast enough to get their autograph? I'm guessing not..
