Re: IW R2: Monfils vs Davydenko
Slow courts should favor le Monf, but Davy is no nonsense and if Gael spends any time clowning it could be over in a hurry.

Re: IW R2: Monfils vs Davydenko
Depends if Davydenko is motivated or not.

Yes, SHOULD but ...
Look at Clownfils results here during his career ... His score @ Indian Wells is
2005. R1: Gael Monfils Jeff Morrison 7-5 6-4
R2: Tommy RobredoGael Monfils 6-3 6-1
2006: R1: Gael Monfils Jeff Morrison 6-3 0-6 6-3
R2: Ivan Ljubicic Gael Monfils 6-3 6-2
2007: R1: J.Benneteau Gael Monfils 3-6 6-3 7-5
2008: R1: Mario Ancic Gael Monfils 6-3 6-2
2009: R1: Bye
R2: John Isner Gael Monfils 6-7(5) 6-1 6-4
2010: R1: Bye
R2: Simon Greul Gael Monfils 1-6 6-2 6-3
It's very obvious that Clown have some kind of problems with this tournament - his results prove that. Now he didn't play almost 1 month because of knee problems. Davydenko is in very unpredictable form, but I see him as favourite here ...

Re: IW R2: Monfils vs Davydenko
Gael in three sets, he is way too fast for Davy style of play, he can retrieve a lot if balls, and also he has a nice Serve + FH combo.

Hard to predict, can go both ways. I like both, so may the better man win.
