Two guys who a lot has been expected by posters on here and in general. Rufin was on a four match losing streak going into today so a win was needed for him. The big difference between the two was the serve as Rufin won around 50% of return points overall the final two sets.

Hopefully the Frenchman can start playing to his potential in challengers, and most importantly, stay healthy long enough to do so.

Great win for Rufin coming off a bit of a bad spell, he really should be higher than his current ranking of 182, did brilliantly in Montpellier and hopefully he can build on the good win. That said challengers are tough, a few of his recent losses were to Malek Jaziri (very good shot maker) and Alberto Brizzi who is solid on the clay. Never the less hopefully Rufin can rise and this win is hopefully a start because this match against Javier Marti was very tough to call.
